Is a miner ever 'due' for a block?

If a miner has been trying for weeks, is a block coming soon?

Quick note: StarMiner sent me this miner.

Nope. Every try is brand new.

The puzzle doesn't remember any of the tries before.

Week one or week fifty, it's the same fresh start.

So there's no countdown and no almost there.

Solo mining does not guarantee rewards.
